England to face Antoine Dupont AGAIN before Australia tour

Fabien Galthie is set to lead the Barbarians against England this summer prior to Eddie Jones side jetting off for a three-match series against Australia.

Galthie’s coaching team for the fixture is still to be officially confirmed but could also include a return to Twickenham for Shaun Edwards, while reports are already suggesting France stars such as Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack could future in the famous black and white hoops.

John Spencer, President of Barbarian F.C., said: “We are delighted to be returning to Twickenham to face England once again this June. The Barbarians have a long history of playing this national side and the fixture promises thrilling rugby, reignited rivalries and the opportunity for some familiar faces to line up against former teammates.

“It often brings out the epitome of Barbarians rugby – friendship, enjoyment, flair and skill. As we begin building our squad and coaching staff, we will be aiming to combine a group of players who will follow on from our Barbarian Women’s exceptional performance and bring smiles to the faces of everyone watching.

“As a Club we have of course not had the easiest time coming to Twickenham in recent months, with the very notable exception of the wonderful display of entertaining and enjoyable rugby the Barbarian Women and Springbok Women’s XV put on in the Killik Cup back in November. We therefore are looking forward to returning as worthy opponents of England in June. We intend to put out a strong, exciting and passionate team and put on a spectacular afternoon of rugby – for England, and for the fans.”

Tickets are on sale now priced from £25 for adults and £12 for under 16s.  Group packages are also available on adult tickets.
