"Erratic" - Lawrence Dallaglio slams Eddie Jones selection

England legend Lawrence Dallaglio has slammed Eddie Jones for twisting his selection when he should have stuck.

Jones will hand debuts to Tommy Freeman (wing) and Guy Porter (outside centre). At scrum half, Jack van Poortvliet will make his first start for England, after scoring a try coming on as a finisher last weekend.

"There are fewer than 15 games to go until then, so it is absolutely fair enough to be thinking about it. You want your pairings and partnerships to be coming together at this stage," wrote Dallaglio.

"Instead, he is chopping and changing. It feels a bit erratic, and lacking stability. And the results are not coming either.

"I would have backed the same group — with the exception of the concussed Tom Curry, of course — and trusted the players to put things right.

"Instead, Eddie has twisted and made wholesale change."
