Five players Saracens could realistically sign after huge takeover

Saracens have agreed to a £32m takeover deal that would spell the end of Nigel Wray’s 26-year club ownership.

Wray has agreed to hand over control to an investor group featuring insurance guru Dominic Silvester and former Springboks captain Francois Pienaar.

If the move is approved by the RFU and Premiership Rugby, it will be a watershed moment for the club whose reputation has been battered by salary cap breaches.

#1. Siya Kolisi

  • Honours: South Africa, 56 caps

The buy-out at Sarries involves rapper Jay-Z’s entertainment agency, Roc Nation, who also happen represent the South Africa captain. Therefore, a move to North London for Kolisi, who has previously been linked with Wasps, all of sudden looks very possible. One of biggest names in the sport today, this would be a statement signing for the new ownership.
