“Forearm smash” – Stuart Hogg was brutally knocked out by teammate against Wales

It was a bit of a surprise when Stuart Hogg departed the pitch for a head injury assessment against Wales, and even more surprise when he didn’t return to the field.

However, a clip has now surfaced the fullback being on the wrong end of an accidental ‘forearm smash’ from teammate Sione Tuipulotu at the ruck.

Victim of trolling:

The Scotland fullback has been the victim of online trolling once again.

Hogg had to respond to comments regarding his appearance during the Autumn Nations Series.

Hogg took to Instagram then to let his followers know what he thought of comments about his appearance. This is what he had to say:

“OK I get it. I find it incredibly frustrating and annoying that my appearance has somehow taken over my ability to play rugby according to ‘fans’ of the game. My hair. My teeth. My f***ing choice with what I do. No matter how many times it’s heckled, written, commented on, I will continue to be me. Why? Because I’ve every f***ing right to. I have a man bun. I have had dental treatment. Give over. It’s old news. Find something more interesting to do with your lives.”

However, the comments were back today with many about his appearance once again.

This especially peaked on Twitter after Hogg went off for an HIA during the match against Wales at Murrayfield. .

One fan wrote: “Dr James Robson just indicating that Stuart Hogg has gone off for a Hair Injury Assessment.”

Another said: “Stuart Hogg sent off to check his hair.”

A third wrote: “Stuart Hogg is gone off for a head injury assessment, as the fumes from the amount of fake tan he’s wearing are interfering with his brain”

Another commented: “What brand of tan does Stuart Hogg use? Looks great.”

“Scotland camp must have been training in the Bahamas this week judging by the tan Stuart Hogg is sporting.” said a fifth.

These sort of comments to players MUST STOP!
