Piers Morgan has dubbed himself #MysticMorgan on Twitter as he makes predictions on rugby, but he's quite often wide of the mark.

1. Rugby World Cup 2015, England vs Wales

Piers Morgan predicted England to win by more than seven points with Owen Farrell and Sam Burgess starring for Stuart Lancaster's side. Instead, the men in white were beaten 28-25 at Twickenham; the two players he highlighted had absolute stinkers and Lancaster was removed from his position less than two weeks later.

2. 2017 Lions tour, Third Test

After being very close with his predictions for the first two tests, Morgan went against the Lions and predicted them to be well beaten by the All Blacks. However, a long-range penalty three minutes from time by Owen Farrell snatched a 15-15 draw for the Lions in an epic third Test and, with it, a share of the series. Nowhere near a drumming.

3. England vs New Zealand, 2014

This time Morgan didn't give England a chance, but they in fact led 14-11 at the break following a brilliant solo score from Jonny May. Ultimately losing 21-24 at Twickenham could never be considered a spanking.

4. Rugby World Cup 2019 final, England vs South Africa

Starting to think Morgan may be a jinx for England. This time he backed us to win the 2019 Rugby World Cup final against the Springboks, which again went badly wrong as Eddie Jones men were outclassed and overpowered in Yokohama, losing 31-12.
