From Harlequins thrilling win against Bristol Bears on Friday night to Wasps impressive win against Northampton Saints, the weekend action really did have it all.

But, as is tradition, the quality contributions of the weekend must be narrowed down to an outstanding team of the week.

Here’s who made the RUCK team of the week cut this week…

Results:

  • Harlequins 52-24 Bristol Bears
  • Exeter Chiefs 42-5 Worcester Warriors
  • Gloucester 33-32 Sale Sharks
  • London Irish 16-21 Leicester Tigers
  • Saracens 37-23 Newcastle Falcons
  • Wasps 26-20 Northampton Saints

Premiership team of the week: Round 4

BACK-THREE:

  • 15. Max Malins (Saracens)
  • 14. Facundo Cordero (Exeter Chiefs)
  • 11. Louis Rees-Zammit (Gloucester)

Honourable mentions: Louis Lynagh (Harlequins)

CENTRES:

  • 13. Henry Slade (Exeter Chiefs)
  • 12. Mark Atkinson (Gloucester)

Gloucestershire Live on Atkinson: “While the centre didn’t make a huge impact with his passing game he put in a couple of superb passes and there was none better than the bullet pass which flew off his left hand to set-up the opportunity for Rees-Zammit to finish for his second try.”
