GONE: Leicester Tigers release Stuart Lancaster’s son

Leicester Tigers have agreed terms with Dan Lancaster, allowing the 20-year-old an early release from his contract.

The fly-half made five appearances for Tigers this season, featuring in each of the club’s matches during the 21/22 Premiership Rugby Cup.

Prior to joining Tigers ahead of the 21/22 campaign, he represented hometown club Leeds Tykes and was a member of the Grand Slam winning England Under-20s squad in 2021.

Lancaster’s release from Leicester Tigers is effective immediately with the fly-half reportedly heading for Ealing.
