Fly-half Marcus Smith converted his own try before adding the extras to a brace from hooker Jamie George to give the visitors a 21-0 lead at the break.
Replacement back Elliot Daly, who replaced Jack Nowell after the winger failed an HIA, secured the try-scoring bonus-point four minutes after the restart.
Italy then came into the game but couldn’t turn possession as territory into points as Eddie Jones men held out for the convincing win with Kyle Sinckler and Henry Slade adding further gloss to the score late on.
