Minutes after scoring a try just minute into his Six Nations debut, England flanker Jack Willis was stretchered off with what looks a serious knee injury.
The back-rower had to battle back from serious knee and ankle surgery in 2018 after first being named in Eddie Jones’ squad for the South Africa tour.
Willis was rolled at a ruck as his left knee imploded with the Wasps man letting out a horrendous scream. Eddie Jones has confirmed that the flanker would have a scan on Sunday.
“We are all concerned, he is on crutches and will be examined on Sunday. It didn’t look good, and it is probably not good, but we will wait and see,” said Jones
“It’s some sort of knee injury, but he’s back in the dressing room with us.”
It now looks like he’s set for a considerable amount of time on the sidelines once again.
