Referee Jaco Peyper has done very little to endear himself to Irish rugby fans today with a number of contentious moments in New Zealand.
#1. CLEAR RED
Leicester Faingaanuku clattered into Mack Hansen after the ball is kicked, and made direct contact with the head. He was very lucky to only see yellow.
SOCIAL REACTIONS:
#2. PENALTY TRY
With New Zealand down to 13, Peyper denied them what seemed an obvious penalty try.
#3. STRANGE APOLOGY
Fans were confused why he apologised for sending off the New Zealand player for what was obviously a dangerous tackle.
Angus Taavao remained upright and clattered into Garry Ringrose's head. Clear red card with the Ireland centre being replaced by Bundee Aki.
