Yorkshire Carnegie director of rugby Martyn Wood and head coach Joe Ford have named their side of 23 debutants following the CVA in the summer.
Former England head coach Stuart Lancaster’s son, Dan, gets the opportunity to start at fly-half having come through the club’s academy structure.
He has represented both England and Scotland U18’s so far during his short career.

Meanwhile, former England international Tom Varndell makes his first appearance for the club in a backline that also includes ex-Leeds Rhinos rugby league player Lee Smith.
