Photos have emerged on instagram of American rapper Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, better known as DaBaby playing rugby and even scoring a try. He went to Zebulon B. Vance High School in Charlotte, North Carolina and he played Rugby for his high school team.

Played centre for San Isidro in Argentina before giving up his passion for rugby to devote himself full time to becoming a revolutionary. Was so enthusiastic about rugby, he ran a weekly magazine called “Tackle,” which lasted for three months in 1951.

According to a National Public Radio story, the Lord Of The Rings author played at Oxford while at school. Tolkien began playing rugby whilst a student at King Edward’s School, Birmingham, and promptly joined the rugby team upon commencement of his studies in 1911 at Exeter College, Oxford University.
