Exeter hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie is the latest England star to be linked with a shock transfer this summer after a report in today’s The Rugby Paper.
According to transfer guru Neil Fissler, the 28-year-old is on the radar of Australian NRL clubs after Eddie Jones suggested he’d make a great rugby league prop forward.
There is a severe shortage of high-quality props available to them, meaning Cowan-Dickie could potentially double his earnings if he made the shock move to the southern hemisphere.
However, we believe playing for his country, his local club and the fact he has a young family will be enough to ensure he stays at Sandy Park for the foreseeable future.

The Rugby Paper reported at the start of May that the England and British Lions centre was in talks with Toulon about a switch to the Côte d’Azur this summer.
The deal appeared to be done when last weekend the former Top 14 and European champions announced the signing on their website only to take down the post minutes later.
