Newcastle Red Bulls have today confirmed the signing of the Fijian flyer Joji Nasova on a two-year deal starting from next season.
The 25-year-old, who is an option on the wing and at outside centre, heads to Kingston Park Stadium following a successful career as an international sevens player.

He claimed a silver medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024, whilst also being selected in the HSBC SVNS Series Dream Team for 2025.
That followed him being the joint top scorer with 26 tries during his final campaign. He switched to the 15s game, making his international debut against Canada and scoring.
This was followed by him claiming a brace in his second appearance against Japan in the Pacific Nations Cup final.
On the signing of the 6-foot-1 star, Newcastle Red Bulls’ sporting general manager stated: “Joji is an electrifying runner who can really help spark our attack into life.
“I’m sure our supporters will enjoy the X-factor he brings on the field, and we’re really excited about the impact he can have here.”
