England lock Maro Itoje  believes rugby needs to learn from American football’ by introducing a Super Bowl-style half-time show.
Itoje said: ‘I did see the half-time show and it would be amazing if somehow that could be replicated in rugby.
‘It was a spectacle. A lot of people are talking about how great the match was but the half-time show has brought a lot of eyes to the Super Bowl so it’s mutually beneficial.’

5 rules from other sports that would make rugby more exciting

Ice hockey referees don't break up fights until a player goes down... that's all we're saying

1. Basketball

Rolling subs. It would keep players fresh throughout the game and fingers crossed help decrease the amount of injuries.

#2. Ice Hockey

Wrestling on ice is a fantastic concept so fair f**ks to the lads, lads, lads who held a straight face long enough to legitimize it as a sport.
Fisticuffs are as much a part of the sport as dentist bills and serial killer accents.
Referees allow players to sort out their differences by going blow for blow and warring combatants are only separated when someone hits the deck.
Yes, we know, rugby players are role models (blah, blah, blah) but it would be incredibly entertaining.

#3. Football

Let's talk diving or in this case swallow-dives. Let's take a note from football and make this joke of a habit as a yellow card offense.
Five minutes in the bin for such simulation.

#4. Tennis/Cricket

The majority of Rugby fans have been successfully triggered by the TMO at least once in the last year.
The best way to lower fans heart rate is to implement technology in a similar manner to tennis and cricket — a review system rather then check with them for every single incident.
Each team gets two reviews per game and if their appeal is successful then they retain their review.
