Popular referee Nigel Owens is at the centre of a controversial incident tonight having sent off Cardiff Blues prop Taufa’ao Filise during the first half of their game against Glasgow at Scotstoun.
There were 29 minutes on the clock when Filise put in a hit on hooker George Turner, who had to leave the field after receiving treatment.
Red card for Taufa’ao Filise!

No, it’s the ‘Nigel Owens’ show again. The yellow was debatable as well but the red was just ridiculous.

@Nigelrefowens has had an absolute shocker tonight. He’s single handedly killed the game. Appalling!!

Ok @Nigelrefowens have a look at your decision making in that game and then reflect on whether it might be time to hang up your boots.
