REPORTS: Jonny May could be set to leave Gloucester

 have reported that the 30-year-old has opened negotiations to stay at Allianz Park, but Toulon, Lyon, Stade Francais, Clermont and La Rochelle.

The England winger rejoined the Cherry and Whites on a year contract last July but then extended his deal before officially moving back to the West Country.

May, who has scored 33 tries in 66 international appearances, is a target for a couple of Japanese Top League outfits who are desperate to obtain his signature as soon as possible.

The 31-year-old is believed to want to fight for his England place, but if he falls out of favour would entertain a move away with American sides also interested.
