REVEALED: Exeter Chiefs new away shirt is something special

Aviva Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs will have a stunning new look to take them into the new 2017/18 season following today’s official kit launch at Exeter Cathedral.

Following on from the club’s title triumph at Twickenham in May, the Chiefs have again teamed up with official kit suppliers Samurai Sportswear to reveal the brand-new home and European shirts for the upcoming campaign.

Entering into an eighth season of partnership with Samurai, the Chiefs worked closely with the Norfolk-based company on producing something spectacular to take into their fixtures both in the Aviva Premiership and European Champions Cup.

Outlining the new playing kits, the Samurai designers state that the home shirt has been stripped back to the raw basics with a classic black shirt, while the new pink European shirt has been inspired by a spiritual and tribal theme design, which exhibits Exeter’s ability as champions.

The Chiefs will once again benefit from wearing Samurai’s ICONIX test match jersey constructed with an exclusive Kohino 4DX fabric, which will accompany a full range of match kit made from a functional range of PerformeX fabrics, designed to ensure that the garments perform better and last longer.

The new Exeter Chiefs playing kits were officially unveiled this lunchtime with a special launch in the City Centre. All new playing kits are now available to purchase through the Trading Post, which is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
