We’d like to congratulate Rhys Webb on successfully being a best man and playing in a crucial rugby match simultaneously. One of those roles is hard enough!
The Wales scrum-half, who has been selected for this summer’s Lions tour, had pictures taken suited-and-booted with groom and best friend Chris Harries before putting in a superb display as Ospreys all but secured a Pro12 play-off place.
He did a television interview straight after the game.
Webb revealed: “I’ve got to head off to my mate’s wedding.
“I’m the best man and so have to get there fairly quickly.”
Team-mate Tom Habberfield said after: “Rhys’s best friend is getting married.

“He’ll celebrate tonight.
“As best man he’ll get his speech done. He had the photos taken this morning. He then came to play the game and shot off straight after.
“He’s a true professional to get the job done on the pitch and not let it affect him.”
