15. Hugo Keenan (Ireland)
Telegraph 9/10: "The most rounded full-back in world rugby. Some of his attacking touches were supreme but it is how he reads the game that impresses most."
14. Tommy Freeman (England)
Telegraph 8/10: "Brought his Northampton form straight onto the international stage. Excellent line to create Daly’s try and came close to breaking away a couple more times."
RUCK 8/10: "Outstanding on his return to the England squad. Offered the most exciting options in attack, and was narrowly denied a try by the bounce of the ball. Freeman has a bright future, and he maximised his opportunity against Italy."
13. Robbie Henshaw (Ireland)
Telegraph 8/10: "Outside centre was purportedly an Irish weakness with Garry Ringrose missing. Henshaw ensured those fears were folly."
12. Tommaso Menoncello (Italy)
Planet Rugby 9/10: "The young inside centre came of age in this encounter as he delivered an outstanding all-round performance for the full 80 minutes. Constantly tested the English defence with some strong attacking runs and eventually gained a team-high 80 metres. Was also excellent in defence where he completed 10 hits."
11. Duhan van der Merwe (Scotland)
Planet Rugby 8/10: "Ran a neat line to end his try-scoring drought as he got an easy walk-in, but his second try was another special one and also assisted by his fly-half. He was a joy to watch in full flight again, and while there were some lapses in defence, it was an otherwise excellent performance for the most part."
10. Finn Russell (Scotland)
Planet Rugby 8/10: "An absolute masterclass in the first half as he bossed proceedings with his cultured boot and sublime running game. That extended into the early knockings of the second half as he assisted Van der Merwe’s two scores."
09. Jamison Gibson-Park (Ireland)
Rugby Pass 8.5/10: "Gibson-Park’s quick decision-making and sharp passing dictated the pace of the game, keeping the French defense guessing. Took his 17th minute try with aplomb."
Balls 8/10: "Kept the pace of the game above what France are used too. Got over for his 6th international try in the first quarter with a great inside support line."
01. Pierre Schoeman (Scotland)
Rugby Pass 7/10: "Averaged 15.7 carries in last year’s Championship, more than any other player. Only managed three here, but one saw him power over from close range for his fourth Test try, and had made 15 tackles when he departed after 62 minutes."
02. Dan Sheehan (Ireland)
Balls 8/10: "Nailed his lineout throws to give Ireland a great platform to attack. Got over for the Bonus Point try in a well taken try from a dominant maul. Ireland’s top tackler with 11 Tackles / 7 ball carries. "
03. Uini Atonio (France)
Telegraph 8/10: "France’s leading light. Some of the defensive shots were thunderous - and legal - and his scrummaging was faultless."
04. Joe McCarthy (Ireland)
Telegraph 9/10: "Tenacious and towering on Six Nations debut. A man possessed at lock with a phenomenal future ahead. One careless dropped pass the only blot."
Rugby Dump 9/10: "Mark these words: McCarthy will be the building block of the Irish pack for the next decade. The 22-year-old obliterated his French counterparts and was deservedly named player of the match, his carrying ability was off the charts."
Rugby Pass 8.5/10: "A revelation in the second row, the Leinsterman’s athleticism and physicality were a pivotal part of the Irish effort. Ran out of steam in the second half."
05. Tadhg Beirne (Ireland)
Rugby Pass 8/10: "Beirne was everywhere, stealing balls at the breakdown, charging down kicks, and making crucial tackles. His versatility shone brightly tonight and his 29th minute true was no more than he deserved."
Balls 9/10: "Got over for Ireland’s 2nd try with an outstanding attack line. Slowed much of France’s attack with some great defence work. His lineout steal 5m from the Ireland try lineout was world class. Got through a massive amount of work. 7 Tackles / 12 ball carries."
06. Ethan Roots (England)
Telegraph 9/10: "An outstanding debut. Virtually the only English forward who consistently punched over the gainline, strong at the breakdown and became a very handy line-out option."
RUCK 8/10: "The man of the match on the day, Exeter Chiefs back-row Ethan Roots could not have dreamt up a better international debut. A strong all round performance, with his physicality showcased in the ruck and collision. Roots made a key carry on the run up to Daly’s try, and also excelled in the air at line-out time."
Planet Rugby 8/10: "Very good debut from the New Zealand-born flanker. Carried hard into contact and was also a useful option in the lineout. "
07. Tommy Reffell (Wales)
Wales Online 8/10: "He was outstanding after the break, and played a key role in Wales winning quick ball at ruck time. Reffell also carried the ball well after the break and was pivotal to Wales' comeback."
08. Aaron Wainwright (Wales)
Wales Online 8/10: "Wales' main source of lineout ball while he carried aggressively and dynamically. One searing break downfield after the break sparked Wales into life while he also did well to claim a try from short-range. A real class act, and the clear long-term successor to Taulupe Faletau at No 8."
Planet Rugby 9/10: "Wainwright worked tirelessly in all departments throughout this clash, finishing with 65 metres gained, 10 tackles made and he also scored a well-taken try and completed 12 hits."
