England rugby stars Marlie Packer and Rosie Galligan have welcomed their first child together, sharing the happy news with fans and teammates.
The Red Roses couple announced the arrival of their daughter, Sienna Grace-Marie Packer, who was born on 18 October 2026.
Packer shared the news on Instagram alongside a series of family photographs.
“Welcome to the world Sienna Grace-Marie Packer,” she wrote.
“The love we have for you is indescribable.”
The couple, who got engaged in 2025, announced they were expecting back in April.
Packer already has a son from a previous relationship, making Sienna the newest addition to their growing family.
Red Roses stars send congratulations
The announcement sparked a wave of lovely messages from across the rugby world.
England Rugby's official account responded: “Amazing. Congratulations!”
The Red Roses added: “Congratulations to you both,” alongside heart and heart-eyes emojis.
England international Lark Atkin-Davies also shared her excitement.
“So beautiful and so happy for you all,” she wrote, before adding: “Welcome to the girl gang Sienna.”
Fellow Red Roses stars Zoe Harrison and Abi Burton were among those sending heart emojis.
Harlequins Women described the announcement as “Amazing news”, while the Women's Six Nations also congratulated the couple.
Packer opens up about life as a new parent
Speaking to No Woman No Try just days after Rosie gave birth, Packer offered a glimpse into their new life as parents.
The England star admitted she could happily spend hours simply watching their daughter.
“Just sit there and stare at them all day long actually,” she said.
Packer had previously missed England's tour of North America to remain at home ahead of the birth.
Galligan had also spoken about her excitement at becoming a parent, telling Sky Sports earlier this year about the support the couple had received from England's coaching staff.
The arrival marks another special chapter for the two World Cup winners, who have enjoyed remarkable careers with England.
Their happy news follows several other Red Roses stars opening up about family life, including Meg Jones and her plans to start a family.
England prop Hannah Botterman has also spoken about her own family plans with fiancée Georgia Evans.
