1. Most Consecutive Wins - 24
Despite winning back-to-back Rugby World Cups in 2011 and 2015, the All Blacks didn't even get close to beating Cyprus' incredible record of 24 consecutive victories. England and New Zealand sit joint second, six short of the record (18).
2. Most losses - 106
Italy legend Sergio Parisse is the holder of this unwanted record and by a significant margin with 106 defeats from his 142 tests. Not many players reach a century of appearances nevermind that many losses.
3. Most drop-goals in a game - 5
With the drop-goal quickly becoming a dying art, it's unlikely anyone will match Springbok fly-half Jan Hendrik de Beer when he sent England packing from the 1999 Rugby World Cup.
4. Highest attendance -109,874
Often described as "The Greatest Game of Rugby Ever Played", 109,874 paying fans turned out at Stadium Australia, Sydney to see New Zealand beat the home side 39-35 in July, 2000.

5. Fastest World Cup hat-trick - 11 minutes
Springbok scrum-half Cobus Reinach scored the fastest hat trick in Rugby World Cup history during their 66-7 hammering of Canada in Kobe on Tuesday night. That was far quicker than Australia fullback Chris Latham’s 25-minute hat trick in a 142-0 thrashing of Namibia at Adelaide during the 2003 World Cup.
6. Most points in a year - 263
Neil Jenkins hit the incredible total in 1999, with Jonny Wilkinson still falling 30 points short in 2003 despite quite the incredible 12 months. Tough to see this record ever being beaten!
7. Most matches in career without scoring a try - 108
All Blacks prop Owen Franks has set a record here which will be tough to beat, especially in an age where props have become stronger ball-carriers.
8. Most siblings to play in a rugby union international match - 5
The most siblings to play in a rugby union international match is 5 and was achieved by Archie, Jack, Frank, George and Max Skofic (all Slovenia) playing for Slovenia against Bulgaria in the European Nations Cup Division Two match at Park Siska, Ljubljana, Slovenia on 12 April 2014.
Archie, George and Frank Skofic started the game and played the full 80 minutes. Max Skofic entered after 25 minutes and scored 3 tries, while Jack Skofic entered after 77 minutes. All five brothers finished the game on the winning side as Slovenia defeated Bulgaria 43-17.
9. Most international appearances in rugby union as captain - 110
Richie McCaw played 110 matches for New Zealand as captain between 2004 and 2015. He became the first player ever to captain a national side to two IRB Rugby World Cup victories, in 2011 and 2015. As of August 2017, McCaw also held the record for overall test appearances, with 148
10. Fastest time to score a try in a rugby union match - 7.24 seconds
The fastest recorded try in a rugby union match was scored after 7.24 seconds by Tyson Lewis (UK) for Doncaster Knights Rugby Union Football Club versus Old Albanians at Wollam Playing Fields, St Albans, UK back in November last year.
The record-breaking moment took place during a NCA Rugby National 1 League game in England, with winger Lewis scoring direct from kick off after racing onto the ball after it had bounced over the head of an Old Albanians player.
