With eligibility for England approaching, Janse van Rensburg is hitting form at exactly the right time. His performance for Bristol Bears in their comfortable win over Gloucester underlined his quality.

He consistently ran sharp lines, showcased his physicality, and combined well with centre partner Jimmy Williams.

It was also encouraging to see him return to the starting lineup after recovering from a facial injury sustained a couple of weeks earlier.

If he maintains this level, he will make a strong case for international consideration.

Saracens produced a dominant display in Manchester, thrashing Sale Sharks 85-19, so it is no surprise to see their players feature here.

At just 22, Bracken, son of former England scrum-half Kyran Bracken, was one of the standout performers in a team full of positives. He brought sharp pace around the breakdown and organised the attack with maturity beyond his years.

Widely regarded as a future England scrum-half, alongside the likes of Lucas Friday and Archie McParland, he capped his performance with a well-deserved try just before the 50-minute mark.

Saving the best for last, Caluori delivered an extraordinary performance against Sale, scoring five tries to take his total to 10 against them this season, an astonishing return.

He played with confidence throughout, excelling with ball in hand and contributing effectively at the breakdown. This continues what has been a remarkable breakthrough campaign.

Performances like this are impossible to ignore, and it will be increasingly difficult for Steve Borthwick to overlook him moving forward.
