The draw for the 11th edition of the Men’s Rugby World Cup took place on Wednesday 3 December at 09:00 GMT, broadcast live on RugbyPass TV.

As hosts, Australia were automatically placed into Pool A, with the remaining 23 nations drawn during the ceremony.
The expanded tournament will be the biggest in history: 24 nations and territories, seven host cities, six weeks of action — all chasing one trophy.
World Rugby Chair Brett Robinson conducted the draw in December before fixtures, kick off times, and stadiums were confirmed at the start of February.

Pool A – New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Hong Kong China
