Despite wins for England, Ireland and Wales, there were still a number of Lions hopefuls who failed to impress under the watchful eye of Warren Gatland.
1. Jonny Gray (Scotland)
Sky Sports: "A birthday to forget for the Exeter lock as he was hosed time and again by James Ryan at the line-out. Could be a decisive day in the race for a British and Irish Lions slot."
RugbyPass: "With Lions places potentially on the line, a really disappointing showing from the Exeter man."
2. Josh Adams (Wales)
RugbyPass: "Took his try with aplomb and was a constant threat with ball in hand, but as one of the best finishers in the game he’ll be gutted to have fluffed his 53rd minute effort."
WalesOnline: "Scored a try and ran well enough in the opening half but butchered a touchdown opportunity when failing to keep his feet out of touch after the break."
TV: “That’s a schoolboy error,” said Shane Williams in TV commentary.
3. Garry Ringrose (Ireland)
Sky Sports: "Poor decision to hack clear led to Russell's unconventional try and fell below his usual high standards."
Independent: "Probably his worst game for Ireland, he made mistakes that have just not been part of his game in his time as a top-level player."
4. Jonny May (England)
RugbyPass: "Needlessly bit in for Penaud’s try when Farrell had Jailbert covered. The ‘head-less chicken’ broken field running that often works so well for May didn’t quite come off here."
Guardian: "Made 115 metres officially but a lot of those seemed to be going sideways."
5. George Turner (Scotland)
Sky Sports: "Nightmare day for the hooker as Scotland's line-out fell to pieces. Given every chance to turn it around before being hooked with 15 minutes left."
RugbyPass: "A difficult afternoon at the lineout for the Glasgow hooker, with Ireland putting huge pressure on his throws."
