We take a look at five players who failed to perform during the second weekend of the summer internationals.
#1. Marcus Smith (England)
Telegraph 5/10: "There is no doubt about his talent, no doubt about his potential; there is also no doubt that he was England's least impressive back, the sin-binning indicative of England's wobble."
Rugby Pass 5.5/10: "With his team already under the pump Smith was sin-binned at the worst possible moment for a brainless deliberate knock-down."
#2. James Lowe (Ireland)
The Irish Times 6/10: "He conceded a couple of sloppy penalties, one for a pull back and another for taking the player out in the air. He dropped what would have been a try-scoring pass."
Rugby Pass 6/10: "Used his boot well to relieve pressure, and a willing runner off 9. However, some really costly errors."
#3. Sam Underhill (England)
Telegraph 4/10: "Far from his best and struggled to fill Curry's shoes. Largely ineffective and leaked penalties. If Willis recovers from injury, he should get a chance in Sydney."
#4. Cadeyrn Neville (Wales)
Telegraph 4/10: "Very quiet. Only touched the ball once in the match - and did not carry - and was hardly omnipresent defensively, either."
#5. Leicester Fainga’anuku (New Zealand)
New Zealand Herald 5/10: "Fair few notches down from his fine debut. Bad early pass to ground, unfortunate yellow card for elbow to head of Mack Hansen when leaping for charge down, had ball stripped in a tackle. Subbed in 50th minute."
