Autumn Nations Cup | Every home nations best and worst player

Yes, our choices are bound to spark debate in places. That's half the joy, though... right?

Disclaimers aside, though, you can check out our choices for every home nations down below and decide whether we've made the right calls or not:

Best player: Justin Tipuric (Wales) - He doesn’t exactly have much competition as Wayne Pivac’s team were pants. However, you can always rely on the Ospreys man to make a significant impact with tackles and turnovers. Wales most important player heading into the Six Nations.

Worst player: Josh Adams - What’s happened? This time last year he was a dead cert for everyone’s Lions team after scoring 7 tries in seven games. He’s now failed to score in his last seven and has looked suspect in defence. His place in the team heading into the Six Nations is certainly under threat.

Best player: Chris Harris - Consistency has been an issue for the Scots, but the Gloucester centre has been pretty impressive across the four weeks. Although he's not the biggest, the centre always makes the hard yards and is capable of throwing a love offload or two.

Worst player: Stuart Hogg - He's not been awful, but in truth has been miles off his high standards. Too much kicking, missed tackles and a few too many handling errors, the captaincy seems to be weighing heavy on the Scots superstar fullback.

Best player: Billy Vunipola - Looked back to his best. The powerhouse was the official man of the match against France and put in a number of forceful performance. Getting back to his best, he frequently topped the tackle and carry charts. A couple of crunching tackles actually got fans excited during an uninspiring tournament.

Worst player: Owen Farrell - His goalkicking has never been worse and in defence he's looked limp, missing 12 tackles in four matches. Also received a few tellings off from the ref during the tournament. Some of the worst performances he's had in an England shirt, Farrell will need to bounce back in 2021.

Best player: Caelan Doris - A dark horse for a Lions spot prior to the Autumn, the back-rower is now looking more and more likely to head to South Africa.  Strong and clever in possession, he's undoubtedly been Ireland's best player.

Worst player: Rob Herring - At the centre of Ireland's faltering set piece, the hookers lineout throwing and scrummaging have been sub par. Too many overcooked throws and missed tackles mean his Lions chances are in the bin.
