The broadcaster’s coverage will complement the BBC’s existing free-to-air offering, with the same fixtures still available to UK audiences. The BBC recently agreed a long-term partnership with Six Nations Rugby to continue showing the tournament through to 2029.
Premier Sports currently screens more than 400 live rugby matches each season and holds rights to major competitions including the Investec Champions Cup, EPCR Challenge Cup, Top 14, BKT United Rugby Championship, Japan League One and Major League Rugby in the United States.
Beyond the UK, Premier Sports will also stream its Six Nations coverage across several Asian markets as part of a strategy to grow the Championship’s global audience and reach new rugby supporters. The company has also secured exclusive Six Nations rights in Canada, alongside coverage of the Nations Championship, SANZAAR tour matches, Super Rugby Pacific and the “Greatest Rivalry”.
Coverage of the Guinness Men’s Six Nations on Premier Sports will be presented by a team of rugby analysts including Tom Shanklin, Andy Goode, Jim Hamilton, Ryan Wilson and Benjamin Kayser.
Premier Sports now joins the UK broadcast partnership for the Six Nations alongside the BBC, ITV and S4C.
