Danny Care Sends Emotional Message to Mike Brown After Reported Retirement Aged 37

Danny Care has been speaking about his former England and Harlequins teammate Mike Brown after the fullback failed to find a new club..

With budgets restricted and the free agent list flooded by Worcester's demise, reports suggest the 37-year-old is set to hang up his boots for good.

Brown, who has moved back to his family home near London after leaving Newcastle Falcons, was already preparing for life after rugby last year when he became part of a player management division (agent) for the private platform Premier Sports Network last year.

The former England full-back is also now studying for a masters in sporting directorship in Manchester, and hasn't ruled out swapping sports.

Brown had an incredible career, representing England 72 times between 2007 and 2019. He is the only Englishmen to win the Six Nations player of the tournament award (2014).

Many of those caps came alongside close friend Care, who has been paying tribute to the fullback.

"Mike Brown was one of the main reasons I joined Harlequins all those years ago," said the scrum-half when Brown left the Stoop.

"We played together for England at the Under 21 World Cup in France and that was where it all started. We’ve grown up together,
