"Eesh" - The Telegraph rank England's four WORST players this summer

A number of players failed to impress during the summer tour and are now likely to be moved on to make way for fresher talent.

The Telegraph has marked each England player out of ten with four players scoring five or below.

Telegraph: "After a quiet debut, Australia clearly did their homework on the former Sydney University player and he was exposed repeatedly in defence in the first half. Responded well after half-time."

Telegraph: "Not involved much in the opening Test defeat in Perth and was then suddenly not involved at all with both Guy Porter and Will Joseph leapfrogging him. Now in danger of slipping out of contention in the year before the World Cup. "

Telegraph: "Like Marchant was unceremoniously dropped after a first Test in which he struggled to get involved. Jones loves the potential of Cokanasiga’s power and pace but he needs to justify that faith."

Telegraph: "Eesh. After four years in the wilderness, Care returns only to join Luther Burrell and Teimana Harrison in the first-half substitution club. Difficult to see how he returns from this." 

Following a fantastic couple of seasons with Quins, the 35-year-old recieved a shock recall for the tour down under following four years in the wilderness. Unfortunately for Care, after a half littered with error in he third test, he was hauled off just before halftime.

As Matt Dawson said courtesy of the BBC: “That’s a reflection on Eddie Jones being pretty unhappy about the way England are playing, but Care has struggled with game management at the highest level. And the scrum-half tends to get criticized for the way a team plays.”

With first choice Ben Youngs coming back into contention in the Autumn, Care has very likely played his last test.
