Stuart went down in the 47th minute when a scrum collapsed, receiving prolonged treatment before being helped from the field. The early signs are worrying.
Bath head of rugby  admitted the prognosis looks bleak:
“He’s not in a good way. It looks like it’s his Achilles. I’m no medical expert, but he couldn’t even stand when he came off. I’ll get an update later, but it looks very serious.”
The setback also delivers a major blow to England boss Steve Borthwick, with the 2026 Six Nations drawing closer.
Despite Stuart’s injury, Bath produced a dominant performance, smashing Munster 40–14 after racing into a 28–0 lead in torrential conditions.
