England player ratings vs Scotland: Women's 2026 Six Nations

A record crowd of 30,498 attended, marking the largest standalone women’s sporting event in Scotland, and witnessed the Red Roses extend their remarkable unbeaten Test run to 35 matches.

Scotland began with energy but couldn’t maintain momentum after being denied an early try. England quickly took control, with Ellie Kildunne scoring twice in the first half, supported by tries from Meg Jones, Kelsey Clifford, and Emma Sing. The hosts briefly lifted spirits when Rhona Lloyd crossed the line following a clever attacking move.

However, England’s power proved relentless. Amy Cokayne, Sarah Bern (twice), Marlie Packer, Sadia Kabeya, Mia Venner, and Haineala Lutui all added second-half tries, underlining England’s strength as they chase an eighth consecutive title.

15 Emma Sing 8 – Mopping up everything that came to her, her jinking line break gave England the platform for Kildunne’s second try of the afternoon. Scored a very good try on the stroke of half time.

14 Jess Breach 6 – Didn’t have much to do today, and when was needed, she was quite anonymous.

13 Meg Jones © 7.5 - Solid in and around the breakdown; as standard. Ran a superb supporting line to score the game’s second try. It’s obvious her background is in the 7s circuit trying to offload everything but also showed her passing range with a beautifully sailed ball over the top for Kildunne’s second.

12 Helena Rowland (Aitchison 62’) 7.5 - A calm head in a chaotic backline. Reliable on both sides of the ball. Nothing special but doing an excellent job.

11 Ellie Kildunne (Venner 62’) 7.5 – Good gas to score the opening try of the game but started getting sloppy and butchered a couple of good opportunities. Calmed down into the game and relaxed showing why she is one of the best players in the world on her day. Her second try was an excellent finish of a well worked team try.

10 Zoe Harrison 8.5 - Stopped a try by holding it up in the early exchanges then with her right boot gets England a foothold in the game with a monster 50/22 moments later. Really good decision making whether that was ball in hand or with the boot. Also very good off the tee 12/12.

9 Lucy Packer (Robinson 64’) 7 – Crisp passing, good cheat lines and secured quick ball giving the platform which invariably killed the hosts

1 Kelsey Clifford (Carson 52’) 8 – Strong in the scrum and stronger in the loose. Scored the bonus point try just after the half an hour mark. Providing a delicate touch putting Maud Muir through a gap which invariably set up England’s fifth of the afternoon.

2 Amy Cokayne (Powell 52’) 7.5 – Scored a very well formed try just after half time. Accurate in the lineout and carried well in the loose.

3 Maud Muir (Bern 52’) 8 – 50^th Cap – Destructive ball carrying and getting penalties at scrum time. Very strong carry which gave the visitors the field position for Emma Sing’s try.

4 Abi Burton 7.5 – Good in the lineout and consistent. Not a bad job for someone who hasn’t played in the second row on the international stage.

5 Lilli Ives Campion (Lutui 58’) 7 – Main lineout operator but gave a few penalties away which proved costly in the favour of the Scots.

6 Demelza Short (Packer 58’) 7 - Debut. Brave and solid in defence and showed the strength in depth that John Mitchell has to play with. Used in the lineout too.

7 Sadia Kabeya 8 – Destructive carry and accurate offload setting up the skipper’s try. Been phenomenal in defence and attack as well as abrasive in the breakdown. Scored a try of her own at the death too.

8 Maddie Feaunati 8.5 – Incredibly strong carry to make the line break which set up the game’s opening try for Ellie Kildunne

16 Connie Powell 6 – Like Carson, didn’t have a lot to do but did her job incredibly well.

17 Mackenzie Carson 6 – Didn’t have to do a lot and was outshone by Bern

18 Sarah Bern 8 – Made an immediate impact scoring straight after coming on. Building on her brace at Allianz Stadium Twickenham last week. Scored her second try less than ten minutes after that. Carrying strong and solid at the scrum

19 Hainela Lutui 7 – Destructive carrying which allowed for quick ball and strong work in the contact zone. Scored the last try of the afternoon as well as her maiden of her career.

20 Marlie Packer 7.5– Cut a mean line for her try with fifteen minutes left. Back at her best and a menace at the breakdown helping England with their lethal speed of attack.

21 Flo Robinson 7 – Offered speed and kept the tempo of England’s attack at 100mph

22 Holly Aitchison 7 – Out of position but gave England another edge to their attack as an extra distributor

23 Mia Venner 7 - Showed real speed and dexterity when going over for England’s eleventh try of the afternoon but didn’t have to do a tremendous amount.
