England star provides hospital 'taxi service' 24 hours after Ireland defeat

England and Exeter Chiefs flanker Don Armand took to the roads yesterday in the bad weather to ferry vulnerable people to and from the hospital.
With another wave of snow hitting the UK, volunteers in 4x4 cars got out on the road to ensure hospitals kept ticking over.
Less than 24 hours earlier the Zimbabwean born back-rower had been playing rugby for England, coming on as a replacement, during their 24-15 defeat to Ireland at Twickenham.

But while most of his teammates were recovering in the warm, Armand got out and made a difference in his local community.
And the 29-year-old earned praise for his public-spirited efforts.
