Here are the five players who disappointed us in today's Six Nations action, including two Englishman and one player from France, Scotland and Wales. They will have better weekends, that’s for sure!
1. Elliot Daly (England)
Daly found himself completely eclipsed by Wales Liam Williams. The England man is a big attacking threat but little was seen of him as his side played conservatively. He was then outjumped at end by Josh Adams for the final Welsh try.
2. Damien Penaud (France)
Showed his pace but didn’t make as many breaks as the rest of the line. Continues to be defensively naive on the wing.
3. Manu Tuilagi (England)
Unusually quiet until his break around the 60 minute mark, making another good carry very soon after. He defended awkwardly, however and fell off tackles. Very dissapointing after standout performances against Ireland and France.
4. Hadleigh Parkes (Wales)
Could not live with Tuilagi’s or May’s pace on occasion and looked ineffective in attack for the most part. Totally wasted what could have been a tryscoring break by ignoring support.
5. Sam Johnson (Scotland)
After standout performers in round one and two, the centre didn’t beat a man or make any major yardage and he fell off some tackles too. He'll bounce back!
