Gallagher Premiership final 2019 player ratings as Saracens won their fifth title after overcoming Saracens at Twickenham.

15 Jack Nowell: A player typical of the big-hearted club and was clearly a target for Saracen defenders. It will be a worry for Eddie Jones to see him limp off. – 8.5
14 Alex Cuthbert: Despite being on the losing side, it's good to see the Welsh man getting back to his best. - 7.5
13 Henry Slade: Binned for a deliberate knock-on, which ultimately cost his side a try in the first half. Made up for it with a fantastic score in the second-half but also missed five tackles. - 6.5
12 Ollie Devoto: Led the charge for the Chiefs. Had a fantastic battle with Brad Barritt, and nothing with which to reproach himself – 7
11 Tom O’Flaherty: He remained optimistic throughout. Never stopped trying to inspire with the ball in hand. 6.5
10 Joe Simmonds: Courageous if not as effective as he would have liked. 6.5
9 Nic White: The playmaker opened the try-scoring after 25 seconds, but that's as good as it got for the Australian on a tough afternoon. - 6.5
8 Matt Kvesic: Was happy to carry but didn't make much yardage. Outshone by his opposite number. 6.5
7 Don Armand: Not at his influential best – an early bang probably did not help – but a solid shift. - 6.5
6 Dave Ewers: A big physical presence and made plenty of tackles but impact faded in second-half. - 7
5 Jonny Hill: Fought hard. - 7.5
4 Dave Dennis: Managed to keep up well with the pace of it, one of the few with enough power to compete toe-to-toe, and deserves a medal for that – 7
3 Harry Williams: Unable to make an impact and slipped off a couple of tackles. - 6
2 Jack Yeandle (c): Starting his first Premiership final, the skipper worked relentlessly and was unlucky to be on the losing side. - 7
1 Ben Moon: Work rate was outstanding. Not the biggest prop but never gives an inch. - 7

15 Alex Goode: The maestro continues to impress. Heavily involved whenever Saracens were on the attack and looks to have a year or two left in the tank, minimum. Unless his celebrations cripple him... – 8
14 Liam Williams: The king of the high ball. However, he missed three tackles and conceded three turnovers in a very mixed performance. - 7
13 Alex Lozowski: Passing game gave Saracens width all afternoon. Bright future. - 7
12 Brad Barritt (c): The hard man amongst hard men. Absolutely indestructible in the first half before withdrawing due that persistent hamstring injury at the break. – 7.5
11 Sean Maitland: Grew into the game, making more metres than any other Saracens player (71). Ended up scoring the winning try. - 7.5
10 Owen Farrell: Uncharastically not great off the tee early on but recovered his composure and led Sarries comeback like a man possessed in the second-half. - 9
9 Ben Spencer: Boosted his World Cup hopes with another fine performance. Was missed when he came off injured. - 7
8 Billy Vunipola - 7
7 Jackson Wray: Unsung hero of the pack. - 7
6 Maro Itoje: Always plays on the edge of the laws, but ended up in the bin with Exeter scoring a try soon after. However, his athleticism stood out yet again, just indomitable and now full of authority. Found an extra gear in the final quarter. – 9.5
5 George Kruis: His butterfingers off the kick off cost his team a try in the first minute. Recovered well though, making 16 tackles in a resilient performance. -7
4 Will Skelton: - 7
3 Vincent Koch: 8
2 Jamie George: Solid in the lineout, scored two tries and made 19 tackles. England's premier hooker. Simply terrific. - 9
1 Richard Barrington: Mixed crunching hits in defence with deft passing in the loose. - 7
