French newspaper Midi Olimpuque has called out 'three major flops' from England's Six Nations defeat against Scotland.

#1. Alex Dombrandt (England)

They wrote: "The English number eight was quite neutral in the game. Far from the expectations placed in him, he did not make us forget Vunipola, yet dismissed by Steve Borthwick and committed some unfortunate ones in front.

"He recovers a good ball on the ground just before the break, but his impact was not enough on the game. He is also replaced before game time."

#2. Finn Russell (Scotland)

They wrote: "Frankly, when you look at the Scottish three-quarter line, it is far from the expected level.

"He is especially the one who makes the most small mistakes, such as this candle completely missed at the 57th minute.

"Too messy in his attacking game, like his too long foot pass at 12 minutes from the end, he did not know how to get to the level of his own and loses his duel at a distance against his young man vis-à-vis Smith."

#3. Owen Farrell (England)

They wrote: "The English captain disappointed. If across the Channel, its positioning as the first center animates the debates, it is not likely to change after this lost match against Scotland.

"Imprecise at the foot, yet one of his forces, he did not weigh on the match, and suffered against the power of Sione Tuipulotu.

"A game to forget for Farrell and for the XV de la Rose."
