The Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation has officially announced the return of Billy Twelvetrees to Kingsholm as a new addition to their board of trustees.

Twelvetrees, a revered figure in the Gloucester Rugby club with an impressive 11-year tenure, has left an indelible mark as a key contributor.
Notably, he captained the team during the 2014/15 season, leading them to secure a European Challenge Cup title. His international career includes 22 Test match caps for England and participation in the 2013 British and Irish Lions squad's tour of Australia.
While currently showcasing his skills on the field for Ealing Trailfinders in the 2023/24 campaign, Twelvetrees is simultaneously pursuing a career off the pitch, working towards becoming a financial accountant.
His wealth of experience and knowledge makes him an invaluable addition to the board. Twelvetrees will specifically oversee the 4Ed campaign, a role for which he has been nominated by Ed Slater.
Speaking on his appointment, Twelvetrees said: "I'm delighted to have joined as a trustee of the Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation, to ensure that the 4Ed campaign helps as many families who are living with MND as possible and that we build on the support and generosity of everyone who has donated to the 4Ed campaign."
