Springbok star Jasper Wiese and his wife Anja are preparing to welcome their second child after sharing their happy news with supporters.
The couple revealed the pregnancy in a touching video shared on Instagram.
Anja surprised Wiese on the pitch and handed him a strip of baby scan pictures. The Springbok forward then held them up for the camera before celebrating with his wife.
The post has proved hugely popular. It has now collected more than 78,000 likes on Instagram.
“One more reason to believe in miracles… our sweetest little secret,” Anja wrote alongside the video.
She then confirmed their baby is due in March 2027.
Wiese was quick to respond to the announcement.
“Soo excited about this. Best wife and mother ever,” he wrote.
The couple already have a daughter, Emiah, who was born in July 2023.
Who is Jasper Wiese’s wife Anja?
Wiese and Anja have been together for several years and married in 2021.
Anja is from Upington in South Africa's Northern Cape. She studied health and skincare before working in the beauty industry.
She has been alongside Wiese for much of his rise through professional rugby.
That included his move to England to join Leicester Tigers in 2020.
Wiese previously spoke about how important Anja was during a difficult start to life in England.
He had to spend an extended period in isolation after arriving during the Covid pandemic.
Wiese later said things improved when Anja was finally able to join him in England.
The pair welcomed Emiah two years after their wedding.
Their latest arrival will come during a huge year for Wiese, with the 2027 Rugby World Cup beginning in Australia later that year.
The 30-year-old remains a key part of the Springbok set-up as South Africa prepare to defend their world title.

Five quirky facts about Jasper Wiese
Springbok powerhouse Jasper Wiese has become one of the most destructive number eights in world rugby.
But there is plenty more to the South African star than his brutal carries and huge tackles.

Rugby was not always the plan. He considered studying agriculture and following his family into farming.

Wiese's junior school was so small that it could not field its own rugby side.
Instead, he had to wait for a regional tournament to get the chance to play competitive rugby.
3. He almost gave up rugby
Wiese's career could have taken a very different path in 2016.

4. His brother is also a Springbok
Rugby talent clearly runs in the family.
