Steward, 24, started at No.15 in England’s win over Australia last weekend but suffered a hand injury following a heavy collision with Filipo Daugunu late in the game.
Images from the match at the Allianz Stadium showed Steward receiving treatment on the sidelines, grimacing as medical staff strapped several of his fingers together. He was replaced in the 75th minute, leaving England to finish with 14 — and briefly 13 — men after Henry Pollock’s yellow card.
Tickets for the England v Fiji autumn international went on general sale on Tuesday 24th June, priced from £50 (Cat 4) to £101 (Premium) plus fees. Check the England Rugby Official Ticketing website (powered by Ticketmaster) for further information.

Steward misses training as Borthwick considers options

It is understood that Steward sat out England training at Pennyhill Park on Monday and will do the same on Tuesday. Head coach Steve Borthwick is expected to confirm his matchday squad on Thursday, and while Steward has not been ruled out, his absence would likely force a backline reshuffle.
With George Furbank and Elliot Daly both sidelined through injury, Smith has emerged as the front-runner to start at full-back, having impressed there during the 2025 Six Nations.

Ollie Lawrence could return at inside centre

According to The TelegraphOllie Lawrence is in contention for a recall at inside centre, giving England a powerful midfield combination alongside playmaker George Ford.
If selected, the reshuffle could see Smith and Ford link up in a dual playmaker role — a move that would add attacking spark and creativity against a dangerous Fijian side.
