Scroll down to see which five Lions hopefuls impressed today as England and Wales over came Italy and Scotland in the second round of the 2021 Six Nations…

1. Louis Rees Zammit (Wales)

Two tries came the youngster’s way, the second one involving a brilliant chip and finish from the speedy winger. He also played in the returning Liam Williams for his try and sent Wales upfield with a wonderful relieving kick later on. A definite Lion in the making.

2. Stuart Hogg (Scotland)

An outstanding showing from the fullback, who took his try well after gathering his own chip through. A lovely stepping break caused havoc for Wales. The Scotland captain didn't deserve to be on the losing side, and is looking like a definite to start for the Lions against the Springboks.

3. Wyn Jones (Wales)

A quietly heroic shift from the loosehead-prop once again, following his man of the match display against Ireland last weekend. Dominated his battle with Zander Fagerson by forcing two penalties out of the highly-rated prop. The Scotland star was then sent off for an illegal hit on Jones.

4. Kyle Sinckler (England)

The standout performer in the front row for Eddie Jones' team and was heavily involved in the build-up to Daly's try; his charging run carrying England closer to the line. Should grow into the rest of the tournament after returning from his ban. Almost a definite for the Lions tour.

5. Anthony Watson (England)

Looked lively after the early setback and showed good feet to finish off England's second try; all before making the interception and darting 80 metres to double his tally. He also contributed a fantastic piece of defence with a last-ditch tackle when England were in trouble. Finally, he looks like he's getting back to his best.
