LIST: Introducing the 5 rugby brothers you didn’t know about…

We decided to look at some of the famous players with brothers in the game you might not have heard of and there's a few in here that may surprise you.

Scotland fullback Stuart Hogg’s brother, Graham, has played for Scotland in the IRB Sevens World Series as well as representing his country at under-18, under-19 and under-20. A very talented player, his career did not take off in the same way as his younger brother due to a number of serious knee injuries.

He spent his three-year professional career between 2002 and 2005 at Newcastle Falcons, alongside his brother, Jonny, predominantly playing as a Centre.

The younger brother of Ireland fly-half Johnny Sexton, he represented Leinster Rugby at schoolboy level but did not make the professional academy. The lock then moved to France to play lower level rugby before joining Exeter Chiefs. Following further stints with London Irish and Jersey Reds, Sexton joined South African Pro14 side Southern Kings on a three-year contract ahead of the 2019–20 season.

The versatile 18-year-old back, who has a big reputation, is making a name for himself on the south coast. Currently plying his trade with the Exeter Chiefs U18, he is certainly a name to watch out for in the future.

Joseph, from Newbury, Somerset, followed in the footsteps of his brother, England and Bath Rugby centre Jonathan ‘JJ’ Joseph, towards a career in professional rugby by signing with London Irish’s academy. Will, who is an outside centre, has also played in all the England U18 league matches, crossing for several tries. A very exciting prospect.
