Mike Tindall includes one Springbok in his all-time rugby XV

After lengthy deliberation alongside former England prop David Flatman, the 2003 Rugby World Cup winner and England centurion has revealed his all-time Dream XV.

Known for his uncompromising style in midfield and his experience at the very highest level of the game, Tindall’s selections come firmly from a player’s perspective rather than a highlight-reel fantasy.

Unsurprisingly, the makeup of his team has raised eyebrows. New Zealand dominate the XV, with England also heavily represented, while traditional rugby powerhouses such as Wales and Australia are notably light – a balance that has already sparked fierce debate among fans.

15. Christian Cullen (New Zealand)
One of the most devastating fullbacks the game has ever seen. Cullen’s acceleration, footwork and finishing ability redefined the position in the late 1990s, scoring 46 tries in just 58 Tests.
