PREM Rugby & PWR confirm two double-header events for 2025/26 season - Principality Stadium return

Premiership Women’s Rugby has announced two headline fixtures for the upcoming 2025/26 season, giving fans an early glimpse of what’s to come before the full fixture list is released next month. These matches will be part of two major double-header events that also feature men’s Gallagher PREM games, highlighting the continued integration and promotion of the leagues upon the biggest stages.

The first fixture sees Harlequins Women take on Bristol Bears Women on Saturday, December 20, 2025, as part of the highly anticipated ‘Big Game 17’ event. This match will be played at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham, just a few weeks after the home of English Rugby had hosted four thrilling Autumn Nations Series matches. Harlequins Men will once again take part in this double-header event, with the incoming opponents as yet unconfirmed for Danny Wilson's side.

The second headline fixture is the return leg between the two PWR sides, with Bristol Bears' hosting both Harlequins women and men on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the exciting ‘Big Day Out’ double-header. This game will take place at the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff, the home of Welsh Rugby, following on from the success of the Bristol vs Bath clash in the same venue this past season.
