PWR: Trailfinders 5 - 57 Saracens - Ultimate Dominance from Sarries in London Derby

While Trailfinders had a fast start to the game scoring just 3 minutes in, they struggled to deal with the visitors ruthless attack, offloading ability and speed of play. A cagey first few minutes, however it was the home side who opened the scoring with Francesca McGhie racing down the wing and getting Trailfinders first try of the game just 3 minutes.

Saracens responded quickly to the Trailfinders try, with them evening the score with a great pass from Poppy Cleall leading to a try from Sydney Gregson just 3 minutes later.

Saracens take the lead for the first time 17 minutes in, with the forwards showing their strength pushing the Trailfinders defence to its limits leading to a try from Marlie Packer. A period of relentless attack from Saracens, suffocated the Trailfinders defence with Alysha Corrigan eventually finding the try line and getting Saracens their third try of the game.

Saracens continue to grow their lead with Lotte Sharp scoring a beautifully crafted try getting Saracens their bonus point try with 5 minutes left to go of the first half. Trailfinders continue to struggle with the speed of ball meanwhile Saracens power to their fifth try of the game moments before the clock turned red marking the end of the first half.

Saracens continue their dominance they showed in the first half, with them making use of their powerful rolling maul leading to Poppy Cleall extending the lead to 33 points. Less than 10 minutes later, Saracens extend their lead to 47 points with replacement Liz Crake getting on the scoreboard. In the dying embers of the game, despite a period of pressure from Trailfinders a loose ball from the home side fell gave Saracens their ninth try of the game with Jess Breach speeding over the line, and growing the lead to 52 points.
