Rugby players and fans rage at Israel Folau's latest anti-gay post

Days after Israel Folau became Super Rugby’s all-time record try-scorer he plunged to new lows with another social media post condemning gay people to hell.

In a post also letting off a volley of religious judgement upon alcoholics, atheists and fornicators, Folau risks disciplinary action from Rugby Australia chiefs having caused outrage almost a year to the day since another anti-gay Instagram post caused controversy.

We all (well, most of us - it has thousands of likes) know this stuff is bollocks. The thing to remember is that meeting hate with hate simply exacerbates the issue. Folau may be rich and successful, but I pity the bloke. I don’t hate him. Let’s just keep being kind x
