Cameron Neild has signed a new deal with Sale
The flanker has signed on with the Sharks for four more years
He made 23 appearances in the first team last season
Sale Sharks have announced that Cameron Neild has signed a new four-year deal at the club.
Neild joined the Sharks academy set-up in the summer of 2013 straight from Manchester Grammar School. Having begun as a hooker, a switch to the back row marked another stage in the development of the Manchester-born youngster.
Last season, he made 23 appearances in the first team, and was named joint Young Player of the Season.
On signing his new contract, Neild said: “I’m really chuffed to be staying at the club, it’s the club I used to go and support when they played at Edgeley Park – so I’m really happy to able to stay here long term. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season.”
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond added: “Cameron is a great young player, who has come through the academy and shone last season. We’re pleased he’s chosen to extend his deal at the club, and I have no doubt that he will continue to progress.”
