In their emotional post, Siya and Rachel revealed that the decision to end their marriage was mutual, reached after much reflection. They emphasized that despite the end of their romantic relationship, they remain close and committed to raising their children together.

"This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they've always known," they said.

The Kolisis reassured their followers that while their relationship is evolving, they will continue to work together as co-parents. The couple has two children and adopted Siya's younger siblings following the death of his mother. Their statement also confirmed that they will remain partners in their work with the Kolisi Foundation.
