Former Scotland rugby captain Stuart Hogg has been charged by police following an incident in the Scottish Borders.
The 31-year-old was taken into custody at a property in Hawick around 4:40 pm on Sunday, February 25. He was subsequently charged and released with an undertaking to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on a later date.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland stated, "Around 4:40 pm on Sunday, February 25, officers responded to a call at an address in Hawick.
"A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged. He has been released with an undertaking to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court at a later time.
"A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."

Hogg, who currently engages in occasional punditry work for TNT Sport, separated from his wife Gillian last year prior to the birth of their fourth child. He publicly confirmed his relationship with jockey and Sky Sports presenter Leonna Mayor shortly thereafter.
The couple shares four children, and as reported by The Sun, Hogg allegedly declined to vacate the family home following their separation. His then-pregnant ex-partner moved in with her parents, along with their three children.
