Team News: New Zealand vs France - Women's Rugby World Cup Bronze Final

New Zealand find themselves in the third place match, after being eliminated from the running by Canada in the semi-final, for a 34-19 score-line. The six-time Women's Rugby World Cup winners and back-to-back defending world champions will not retain their title for an unprecedented third time in a row. However, the chance is still there for New Zealand to bag the bronze and head home with their heads held high.

They line up against France, after Les Bleus were undone by England in the semi-final at Ashton Gate. Once again, the Red Roses prevailed over the Women's Six Nations rivals, with a 35-17 triumph at the home of Bristol Bears.

France have made three changes to the XV that started against England in the semi-finals. Taina Maka comes in at second row, replacing Hina Ikahehegi who is on the replacements bench. Joanna Grisez is on the right wing, whilst Kelly Arbey moves to the bench. Emilie Boulard is at full-back in place of Morgane Bourgeois, who drops out of the 23. Prop Manon Bigot and back row Marie Morland replace Elisa Riffonneau and Seraphine Okemba on the bench respectively

The Black Ferns have made two changes to the starting XV that took the field against Canada in the semi-finals. Laura Bayfield comes into the second row, replacing Alana Bremner who drops to the bench, also in the forwards pack, Jorja Mille, returns from injury at openside flanker with co-captain Kennedy Tukuafu dropping out of the 23. On the bench, Vici-Rose Green, Awhina Tangen-Wainohu and Katelyn Vahaakolo replace Atlanta Lolahea, Kate Henwood and Ayesha Leti-liga respectively
