Danny Cipriani is one of the most exciting rugby players to watch ever. Here, he runs the rule over the backline he thinks would entertain for the Lions this summer.
Speaking at an event in 2020, prior to his Gloucester exit, the experienced playmaker turned selector and had a go at picking his Lions backline.
"I’m expecting three really good games," said Cipriani, who signed with Bath this week.
"If the Lions can keep their heads and their discipline then I expect them to win through.
"They have the pace and the power to hurt South Africa and I wouldn’t be surprised if they won 3-0."

Cipriani said: "Hogg is a very confident and talented guy. On the wings I think Gloucester boys May and Rees-Zammit will be there or thereabouts to start."

Cipriani said: "Henshaw has been consistently excellent in this year's Six Nations. If he can get fit, Manu would be in my team too."

Cipriani said: "Everyone can see what Russell does; he’s one of the most talented players out there. He does so many good things. Murray has every skill in the book: his passing game is fantastic, his reading of the game is strong."
